We're Done!
It is finished, check out the videos in the media section to see the finished robot at work!
Week 5
Thanks to the people who went on Friday and Saturday we are almost done! All the electronics are wired, the turret is working (It needs a bit of tweaking though), and the main tower is almost finished.
Reminder St. Francis practice on Saturday!

Week 4
The Robot is Coming together nicely. We have a lot more to do but everything is coming together. However, we need to pick up the pace to finish before ship date, so come to robotics and help!

Week 3
This week we got a lot done! We now have a custom frame, a good start on a driver station and all the metal and parts cut and ready to assemble into the upper portions of the robot. The website is coming together and we start the autonomous programing next week. Only 3 more weeks left to ship date!

Week 2
We have decided on a design. It is a shooting robot designed by Jon Aman. He has been working on the CAD drawings this week and we are ordering parts as well as starting programming. So far we have the teleop programming done and the CAD drawing to start making the robot next week. We also have made a practice trailer with exact dimensions to practice with.
Week 1
This week we didn't get a whole lot done. We have a concept and we will be going with a robot that can pick up the balls as well as shoot them. However, how we do this is still in debate. We have made a couple prototypes and we hope to decide this weekend. Also throughout the week we have scored 11 orbit balls at various local Wall Marts.
